So here I sit, under the mosquito net, with two fans pointed at me, looking out at the mountain, feeling surprisingly good (except for the uneasy feeling that a snake could crawl out of that jungle and slither by my door at any time...) It was nice to get back to my yoga practice this morning, even though it was very hot. (I took a break while Stacey was here, 'cause we were either too busy or too relaxed to think about ...

... parties. There goes the relaxing pool time, as I watch the couples and wonder how they got there and where their "relationships" will go. A drink at the swim up bar helps distract my always questioning mind. I'll have to ask my parents if I was one of those kids always asking "why" as I feel I likely was. It truly is amazing when you are travelling in such a country of difference alone. When interesting social commentary or things you simply wonder about arise and you have no one to ...

We arrived in Koh Pahgan looking something good to do. When we've realized the island is relatively big and walk by foot all it will be almost a pilgrimage. Well, I think I still haven’t told, but after India, I think Thailand is the country with the largest population index of motorbikes, affectionately called here only "bike". For my luck and calm in my ears, no, they don’t use horns as fun tool "a la India", but definitely seems to be mandatory ...

Finally the full moon party day was here! We made sure we shopped for our neon and brightly coloured vest tops and hair accessories along with our buckets and alcohol to fill them with - we felt a lot safer making our drinks ourselves then buying it from a beachside stall. We made sure we had our afternoon nap as our plan was to go out as late as possible to watch the sunrise. We got all dressed up and made our way down to the beach for about ...

... this close we sleep to the beach and/or this soundproof are the rooms. The breakfast with sea view tastes more than ever and it has a kind of relaxing effect to have breakfast at the beach. We zitten dus eigenlijk ...
