Just a bit of a 'summary' about this Florida 'layover' as I await departure day...I came a bit early to avoid any possible winter weather that might make cabin leaving difficult. This south eastern / Ft. The second piece of luggage was an old green duffle bag that I'd used for shorter trips like Gainesville and Orlando. In retrospect, I probably brought too much clothing but since I'll be staying in hostels, I won't often have to carry the luggage around. At least I can carry the two pieces on me with a free hand and no wheels. It doesn't feel pure when I call myself a backpacker, though. A two-piecer, perhaps.

I decided to grant Rufio a peek into my hometown of Ft. Pierce. While we didn't get to experience the infamous Jetty Lounge, Archie's or Roy's Bougeois, he crossed Dale's BBQ and Little Jim off the To Do list.
