I forgot to mention yesterday how impressed I was with the town of Carnac and its beaches. The town has a quintessential beach town feel and the white sand beaches are top notch. I bet this place is hopping in the summer.

Reading up on tourist advice, that the line for tickets takes an hour and the giant elephant is so popular, you'll have to wait four hours for a ...

... lost. After about an hour and a half of cycling through forests, along riverbanks and coastal paths we arrived. Parked our bikes up and set out to explore yet another place we visited with the kids 20 years ago, yup the beach was the same lol. Strolled along the prom watching the kids playing on the beach and dodging the odd French family taking up the entire path, we decided it was time for a well earn't coffee which ...
