... length of the dock (ok, I'm ad-libbing here but it makes for a better story), and between "Ava Maria's" there was me thinking to myself..

...oh...so THAT is what 'CGN' means...

We made it in the nick of time, but I'm pretty sure we had the same boat captain and crew who eyed us venomously after getting off a few days ago..

"Here come the late goers again" ..I could just feel them thinking it..

... over and over "I just can't believe your luck with the weather!! I just can't believe it!" Any excuse to put on a bathing suit and sun worship even for a few hours this summer in Switzerland is lucky apparently…the weather in the german speaking part has been terribly lacking this year…

We barely made it to the entrance before the kids "needed" plastic toys for the water. Have to admit, the toys ...

Even in a country as high tech as Switzerland, where you have a watch to open your locker, the dive tank looked like a temporary installation similar to something that came from Canadian Tire, complete with fish painted on the side – and would likely not last the season. It held gallons upon gallons of water allowing the divers safe “landing” from 13-21meters (meters not feet) above the pool and was not only impressive in the height ...

Tony stood before the bicycle rental agency (which was two big wood shacks with a door) with two bicycles complete with Chariots! Wooot!!! The bicycles for Talia were just a hair too tall, and as she had not yet mastered hand brakes, it just was not to be and so she opted for some chariot time.

I did mention - Two bicycles, correct? With TWO chariots…..one for EACH kiddo…have you lifted Avaia recently..?

This was another short day for us, only 4 or 5 hours. This was a valley walk up to Champex lake, and for some reason we thought we had arrived at our home for the night but were mistaken. After some hot chocolates in town, by the lake, our guide again had us up and going for another hour of uphill climbing, to stay at Relais ...
