... of Brienz. There were not very many signs to the museum so we just kept following what the GPS told us to do. Even once we arrived at the parking area, it wasn't that clear that this was the Ballenberg outdoor museum. In the U.S., there would be so many signs leading you right the tourist destination but things in Europe are definitely more discreet.

... I almost fell right asleep - an indication that I must have been very tired, as I don't fall asleep easily at all!
The bus arrived at 9:30 and once back in the room, I went to check the weather and then took a bath in our huge bathtub - it took like 15 minutes just to fill it with water! The room pretty big, with a bathroom that had both a bath tub and separate shower as well as a scale, there was a flat screen TV, and best of all, our own private enclosed heated balcony that actually overlooked Lake Luzern! ... get a feel for the town. There were a couple of nice photo ops but it was mostly just a slushy mess. We had wanted to go to the top of the Jungfraujoch near the Jungfrau but the fact that nothing was visible made it kind of pointless. After about an hour of walking around we decided to head back to Bern rather than freeze outdoors. It was also snowing back at our hostel but at least here we had a nice radiator to keep us dry and warm. ...
