More Van Focus, Chilly Evenings & a Waved Claim
... a bit again ;-) With the troops gone it left me and Bhooi to guard the farm, watch numerous episodes of Two and Half Man (I actually think it’s funny!) but mostly work on the van! Delhi Reunions, Sights and Art & More Farm life

Saying goodbye to one, greeting another… Hedda, a Dutch friend from Kathmandu, is passing through which gives us a short but chatterbox evening together! It still amazes me that time really doesn’t make a difference with some people. It seems like yesterday when we had the bbq bonfire party on the rooftop!

And finally, I believe the weekend brings another possible adventure to one of our other accommodation facilities - a very eco-friendly one, by the name of Vanghat Riverine Woods. If this happens, I expect this to be one of my highlights of the month. It hosts many bird-watchers, anglers and wildlife tours, but is not accessible by road.
Oh and lets not forget somewhere in between I will be hard at work on my research! ...
No tigers in the Tiger reserve!
... elephants, antilopes, monkeys etc.
However, after a long overnight train ride from Delhi to Ramnagar on board the "Corbett" express train, and a difficult registration with the park authority (only a handfull of private cars are allowed every day, and we had to fall in line for more than 2 hours),we finally had the permission to enter the park.Unfortunately, we did not see one tiger during our mini safari,just a few antilopes and
black face monkeys..incredible India..!

The district of lakes
... the ranikhet golf ground which is used by army people .beside it is durga devi temple maintained by group of old women!.we went army's shop(built and maintained by army) for shopping of woolen goods which were prepared by widows of army jawans and their children.and then went to military museum ,only of a kind in india.it has intersting collection ...
