After some deliberation we decided to go on the hike to lake with the hope of making it back in time to take the Fernicular to the top of the mountain in the town. We took a private bus to the beginning of the walk. After a hair rising trip to the beginning of the hike we arrived to find what we expected to be a leisurely stroll, was to be accompanied by thousands of other hikers.
