Stayed there with my girlfriends for one night. Not to quiet, but very clean and for a reasonable price. Would recommend it.

... and the terminal was the size of a house. When we got off the plane and walked across the runway to the arrivals door, we were walking beside the luggage trolly that men were pushing our bags from the plane to the terminal on, and beside the door we entered through, there was a conveyor belt that ran about ten feet into the room and then dumped the bags off to be picked up by another worker or the owner. Although, when it starts raining in the jungle, walking in slippery mud and being as clumsy as I am can only lead to 'bad’ things like a few falls onto unknown spikey shrubs and the inevitable ripping of holes in ones pants. Yes, that is correct; ...

The 8+ hour ride that took us to Malang left us with little energy to do much that night, so we split to go for dinner, depending on what we wanted to eat. My friend and I went to a restaurant called Toko Oen which had a colonial atmosphere, even the menu was partially in dutch. After dinner some of us met at the roof top bar of the hotel for a Bintang. The Rooftop was nicely decorated, and some of the sculptures were reason for us all ...
