When we return to Spain we join a fantastic walking group. Thanks to the efforts of Roger and Bill we have enjoyed multiple scenic hikes in the mountains around Alicante. If you've been following our blog you know we've been away for a "health retreat". We traveled to Benissa, Spain, just 45 minutes north of our home in the mountains overlooking Calp.

We stayed at the Obsidian Wellness Center. One of our hiking friends here in Campello has stayed there before and told us about it.

We were happy to see Dany at the airport after a long day of travel. This morning Maria took us to the hospital on her way to work (to check my INR), we walked to the train station to make a reservation for tomorrow to meet Mike Spiller in Madrid, and caught a tram back to the Esteban's home. Today we are doing laundry and packing for the Camino de Santiago. We plan to stay in Madrid overnight and travel to Pamplona on Sunday. So far we've traveled 14,001 ...
