I kick-started my Mother's Day weekend with a yoga session at a Shinto Shrine. Manshoji Shrine is old. Not old, as in, needs a new coat of paint. OLD, as in, this place is hundreds of years old, old! The yoga session was fun and unique, but not the best yoga I've ever done. The instructor did a great a great job of conducting the class in her best engrish. This was the opening weekend of Dreams Come True’s 25th anniversary tour in promotion of their new album Attack25. Our room was kitted out with a full blown stage, mic stands, and a series of percussion instruments (yay!). With lots of plum wine and our two new best friends, the scene honestly could not have been more perfect, to say we were loving life would be a massive understatement!

... lugging laundry bags and soap upstairs, hoping machines are available. It's not so bad though. We've been doing laundry regularly and the key is to do it during the week when it isn't crowded. Today I am the machine hog since I'm washing everything I can including the new sheets I bought for our temporary beds. We are looking forward to getting settled into our house and having Renny with us, but I will really miss, "Housekeeping!"
