Basically the only exciting thing to report is that we had breakfast at NOON. WHAT THE. I hope the house was not offended. Or lonely at 8am, when we didn't wake up.
We did also have a lovely lunch at Koskelo with Maggie before having to say goodbye to her. It was great fun having her over! We played lots of card games too, and Maggie taught us a new one to add to our repertoire.
... and guest house and if I understood the chef correctly, it was set up to be a non-profit organisation but perhaps their philosophy didn’t extend to yachties, as they charged €15 a night! Still, we had access to all the usual facilities and fifteen euros is still cheap when compared to the prices we will be charged further south.
It was a lovely, peaceful spot and very tranquil and there is not much else to report. If this is Finland’s summer, we love ...
We had to head off though as Antti had a volunteers meeting for the music festival. I ran into Mia, from Lukio, who invited me to come play beach volleyball with her and some other Lukio chickas. It was heaps of fun! We all sucked pretty bad but we joked and caught up on all the gossip from the last 2 years. After that we had lollies and junk and then had to part ways. Ultimate summers day :) ...
Today was Tiina's confirmation day!
