    ... the last time I saw a TV. We are living the good life in one sense though, being able to go out into the garden and pick leeks, onions, garlic, tomatoes, basil, peppers etc is so much easier than tesco's and self service machines. We tried to make soup earlier and the food processor wouldn't work, so then we tried the blender and it had no bottom so I walked around for an hour carrying half a blender looking for parts for it, never found the part and used a juicer ...

    This is a beautiful Spa town . The hotels are spectacular , perched on cliffs .painted in beautiful colours Most were built 1880 when taking the waters was popular , but has been a spa town for hundreds of years .

    There are many fountains of hot water for people to drink . They recommend that you use a teapot shaped cup to sip the water as you walk slowly .

    They eh all looked silly , but the cup vendors happy .

    ... absolutely fantastic. They also served complimentary wine and continuously refilled it throughout the meal.

    Tonight we will spend the rest of the evening in the lounge meeting more of our fellow passengers. I am definitely the youngest one on the boat- probably by about 20 years. I get the feeling I stand out quite a bit but that doesn't bother me.

    Tomorrow is a tour of mid-evil Nuremberg, then at lunch we sail towards Regensberg!

    ... The night was spent around a campfire over which we cooked delicious Klobasa (Sausages) and Marshmallows.
