    ... Marienbrucke Bridge & waded through the throngs of tourists up there.  OMG ... it was a sea of selfie-sticks! After a brisk walk to Neuschwanstein (that 15min estimate is obviously for slow walkers), we made it to the castle with 5 min to spare!  Heaps of time!  The thing is that they allocate you a specific time for your tours but if you're not there, they don't wait for you & they won't refund you if you get it wrong ... ...

    ... was incredible. Postcard perfect. It's just so beautiful here. We met a couple Greg and Jean from California who we get on with really well so kinda tag teamed with them around the lakes. Cycling was great. Good to get off the feet for a change. Also eating lots of German cuisine which is a welcome change from pizza pizza pizza! Auf Wiedersehen Arrivederci ...

    ... is a long line of cars in front, headed up by a small coach. I'm lucky and get past them all on one of the few straight stretches.
