Our goal today was to head up to the castle district to see the Matthias Church. We headed down to the waterfront, then walked to the foot of the Elizabeth bridge, where we finally found the Roman ruins under plexiglass windows- that's why we didn't notice them before! ... wrong Ibis was sorry we weren't staying, but we moved on to the correct Ibis. It did take us two turns around the block to find the entrance though. Oh yes, I forgot to tell you about the spiffy toll vignettes in Hungary. They are virtual. You go on line, enter your car number plate details and pay the fee.
