... and happy, there were no signs of distress at being surrounded by such a large crowd, if anything the tigers looked bored. The most spectacular performance however was the acrobat, he did his entire performance without a wire or any safety equipment. After the circus we headed into the city for some dinner and then back to the hostel to pack our things ready for an early morning train the next day. Goodbye Budapest! ...

Our guide Agnes picked us up at our accommodation at 9.30am this morning. She is an excellent guide with an extensive understanding of the history of Hungary. The country has had many invasions and a history of turmoil and uncertainty which has made for a very moving history.

... sick and had an early bedtime! Day 3! We were out of the hostel by 11 and had such an eventful day! We firstly saw the Jewish synagogue! We than grabbed some traditional Hungarian food called "Langosh" which is similar to pizza but the bread is deep fried and soft. For me it tasted similar to a croissant breading! ... the nearest large pool. Was like a nice warm bath, not too hot. There was other pools hotter but we didn’t really want to get out. The pool had different areas of heat and the centre was a ring which people had turned into a whirlpool. We couldn’t resist but go and get carried away by the current.
