Our first full day in Venice began with a visit to St. Marks Basilica. While waiting in line to get in St. Marks, we stood on platforms that had been set up due to the flooding. ... class. It was very comfortable and the train ride was extremely smooth despite speeds of up to 280kph!!! The 2 hour train ride passed very quickly; however we could not get the supposedly free Wifi to work on the train which was annoying as I had planned to spend 2 hours blogging!! We did ask about it, but they weren't very helpful,.
