... 2 May 1944 for their role in the Resistance. There is a monument to the three beside the town church. We have also been telling them the story of Nancy Wake 'the white mouse' a young Australian woman (born in New Zealand) who was the most highly decorated female of WW 2 and a driving force in the Resistance. ... while Traci, Kate and Roy stood in the muddy field and eventually pushed the car back onto the road. Nathan could tell they were having so much fun and seemed to be so full of energy he drove back up to the top of the hill to wait for them while they walked up.
After our afternoon adventure we made our way back home for a well earned rest. We wonder what other adventures will be in store for us in the coming weeks!
... mixture of chicken and fish and if it wasn't for the seasoning they are cooked in they would not have much taste at all. We got one back on the French by having them try vegemite. We had mixed reactions with Thierry liking it, Celine not too sure and Clara not at all and we are unsure if she disliked the frogs legs or the vegemite more.
So after a day of New Year festivities and tasting frog we just had to title this entry 'Hoppy New Year'.
