      ... Desserts included tarte au pithiviers, tarte aux pommes (Apple) and tarte au citron (lemon) as well as the different types of pastry. The week ended with us making a mini croquenbouche! Did you know that French chefs buy in the choux buns instead of making their own? During the week, we also got to see some of the surrounding countryside. On Tuesday morning we went to the local market at Fleurance, at which most people do their shopping. ...

We were to est dinner in our hotel but they were so full of a strange attitude and they wouldn't serve dinner until eight o clock we all decided that they didn't deserve our money and went to another restaurant down the road where we had the pilgrims menu which was just lovely and we're were in ...

      ... walking for almost a week we have been travelling public transport etc and searching out accommodation etc etc and this can be very exhausting in its self.... Moissac, again a very old town with an extremely old and beautiful church ( Romanesque ).. Europe is so lucky to have been able to keep its old churches... No Henry VIII in this part of the world..... Now getting ready to commence walking ...

      ... noticed the canal with tow path and with what I had read I realised that in fact on Monday when we recommence walking we would Indeed be walking the same journey we had now travelled twice... So I say, three times lucky.. We arrived in tiny Moissac and after much lugging of heavy back packs and bags up and over the railway tracks ... We found our hotel..which fortunately is very nice and a modern refurbishment of a very old ...
