    We arrived on Fondi on my birthday and Filomena treated us to a nice lunch, complete with pastries. For dinner we drove to nearby Gaeta as per an earlier facebook entry, for a seafood dinner, followed by coffee back at Bar Conte in Fondi.

    ... for our visas. He asked if we had been to the Italian Consulate and we said yes. "I don't know why they keep sending people here, we told them we don't do money orders without an account". He politely told us about a deli around the corner that sells money orders. Soon we are back at the glass window money orders in hand. We are assured that when our passports and insurance documents arrive, our visas will be processed and mailed back to us.
