It was raining today and really cold so we took in the local museum full of Roman antiquities found in recent local excavations, it was small but still astounding that it was over 2000 years ago and they were so civilised. We had a turn up and down the Corso and then went for lunch at the highly anticipated Da Gino, it is only open for lunch and didn't disappoint. We took a little more care than yesterday ...
We started off with a lovely buffet of Marta's home grown prosciutto, cakes, fruit, and home made cheeses, all delicious and too much! Inside the National Park d'Abruzzo, there is an agroturismo known as L'Ape e L'Orso (the bee and the bear). This place lived up to its name! ...
