Ostend, Belguim was a quick 2 night stopover on our way to Amsterdam.

It had a huge beach and a large esplanade with some cool orange art features.

It was empty of people and would be one of those places that come alive in summer.

We did a day trip to the nearby gorgeous city of Bruges.

This is a cool city centred around a couple of big plazas, lots of canals and pretty photo

... and you melt the chocolate in. We then checked out the biscuit shops (few samples), the chocolate shops and souvenir shops! We also went back to the beer wall and better look around there. We learnt that tin tin was originated from Belgium so there was plenty of things to see about him. We spent the rest of the afternoon exploring beautiful Bruges.     ... visit randomly fell on the day of their big parade which only takes place every 5 years. Another highlight of our day in Brugge was the horse drawn carriage ride that Ky and Che took us on for a site seeing tour of the town. It was such a neat way to weave through the tiny cobbled streets and see the town.
