Heaps of Wildebeest
Hello once again, this time from Kenya!
We hit a major milestone a few days ago by completing our 40 day, 9500 km journey from Capetown to Nairobi. In total there were 11 of us that traveled together for those 40 days and now only 4 of us are continuing on through some of Kenya and into Uganda. It was sad to part ways with our group that isn't continuing after spending all our time together for so long.

Game Drive - not as interesting as the Massai Mara
This morning we got up early and drove to Lake Nakuru National Park - we did a morning game drive and other than a few pink flamingos and the white rhynos there was nothing else interesting. We are all falling asleep regardless of the may attempts from our guide Hes to keep us on the look out for lions and panters.

Truck Safari in Lake Nakuru National Park
I was up early - 5:30 am for our 6 am breakfast - so we could leave for Lake Nakuru National Park.

Masais and truck life
... more easily, so it worked really well. So we saw 4 of the 5 "big five", being lions, leopards, elephants and buffalo, and only missed out on rhino. Plus of course there were loads of zebras and giraffes, so all in all an amazing experience. Have tried to only include a sample of the photos!
