As regards our Romanian holiday we have booked our accommodation, a real mixture of smart(ish) hotels, wayside B&Bs and self catering. We have the outline of a route-around 4000 kms in total taking us over the Transalpina and the Transfagarasan via a few castles all the way to the Danube Delta on the Black Sea and back via the Iron Gate Gorge,Belgrade and Zargreb.

Up early today for a an Amazing drive up into the Austrian alps. We all got pretty excited as we started to spy snow topped mountains and alpine ski resorts etc. We found our hotel - really cute and headed straight out for a drive in the mountains.
