Another warm sunny day. I can barely stand it! After our wonderful day in the waters off Split exploring the islands in a little boat, we decided to do the same thing in Dubrovnik. This time David hired a little self-skipper runabout (which came with car pickup from the apartment, so no parking worries, very nice!) Picked up the boat at the marina in Dubrovnik harbour about 10 and headed off. The rental guy was very blasé, didn't bother to ...

... one of my favorite Saints).

I was getting a bit hungry around this time so I headed out of the old city to a super market (really a mini market) just outside the city walls near the bus station where I should have gotten off the bus last night. I bought some milk and a chocolate filled croissant and a banana and had a nice breakfast on one of the squares overlooking the Adriatic and the big fortress there.

    I then proceeded ...

... of Dubrovnik showing graphic footage of how the old city was attacked. We head up to the top of the fort and once again we are rewarded with a fantastic view of Dubrovnik and the island of Lokrum. We then descend.

Dianne stays in the old city as I accompany the kids back to our accommodation. Josh stays but Bianca and I walk the 500m or so to a local beach. Down plenty of steps, we reach the pebbles which are ******* the feet. The water ...
