Today was the first day of Women's Quest retreat. We met all the women at the ferry and were set up in the rooms. Then there was a slight drizzle and we got our rain coats for our walk to our lunch. Then, the heavens opened up and it was raining in buckets - we definitely got wet. Of course after 20 minutes or so, the rain stopped and the sun came out. After all the water was wiped down/swept off, ...

It has been awhile since our last entry and now we are saying goodbye to Dubrovnik and Croatia as we are about to start our final chapter in Italy. The fountain is one of the well known structures inside Dubrovnik's walls. In the Middle Ages, Dubrovnik's water was delivered from the mountains several miles away by a complicated aqueduct system, ending at the town's biggest fountain and then continuing through the city. This plentiful supply of water was one of ...

... for yummy pizza and beer. At this meal we got the low down on how our trip was going to work. As it turned out we would only be with our new friends for a few of the days. We were on the "Family Tour" which was designed for less Kayaking, shorter trips and the last couple days were for tubing and banana boat riding. We were only supposed to kayak with the group for one day but we chose to do the longer kayak trips the second and ...
