KL has a fantastic public transportation system (Monorail, Light Rail, Buses, and Taxis), and still has horrible traffic jams.

Some people had told me that the Petronas Towers were less than impressive, and they were wrong.

... time to go up the towers. Whatever the guidebooks say should be followed as the queues are endless and if you don't get here early it is possible that you have to return the following day because the tickets (I believe) are usually sold out before 9 a.m. or shortly after.
