Tonight we are dining in the Chops Grille for my birthday. They claim the best steak on the high seas. We have much more motion on this crossing than we did last year in the Pacific. They have drained and closed the pools until we get to some calmer waters. They have also made some subtle changes in the entertainment because of the increased motion.

So, we hope all are well and we will get back to you when better conditions permit. ...

... anything properly. We stop at various places along the way. We are travelling at over 250Ks and the lorries and cars on the motorways seem to be crawling along. Turin was beautifully sunny and pleasant, but as we approach Milan it is very grey and starts to rain. Milan is staging a huge Expo and we pass through it - it looks very grand and very modern. As we leave Milan, the weather improves and once more we have patches of blue and sunshine. We stop at other stations but ...
