Today started off well with a free walking tour led by a retired ballet dancer and all round crazy guy who was extremely animated, extremely entertaining and extremely ****** off at the financial crash that bought Iceland to its knees, never missing an opportunity to have a go at the powers that be, or were.

200 Miles South of the Arctic Circle
... calm and hospitable. However, one of them is so out of it that he could just as well be dead. It is 4:00pm local time. There's a story here somewhere but I don't know what it is. Most people I have encountered speak English as well as I do. They also, apparently, speak wonderful Icelandic.
