... nothing but we went to another mall right next door and we went to H&M and I bought three things a nice white crop top, a long sleeve jumper and a puffer vest. We waited for like 1 hour for the shuttle bus to come and pick is up again and we had a 40 minutes bus ride back. Once back we booked a reservation at Hard Rock Cafe for 7:00. Then we went back to the apartments and got changed for Hard Rock, I ...

... having a more detailed look tomorrow. We were taken back to our hotel, the Hilton, mind you, and made our own individual plans for dinner. Karin and I looked at a couple of places and found that 28- 32 euros for some sandwiches was way beyond reasonable so we kept walking. ... everywhere else so it was good to see that there are people that live here and have fun. We stopped in a couple of places for some drinks and slowly found our way back to the bus stop. We both didn't dislike Venice but it has been our least favourite so far, it's kinda smelly just from all the water and the weather is a bit odd. Even on sunny days there is a weird haze that makes the place seem foggy. We weren't sure if it's smog from all the ships and stuff around ...

... a cold shower and a good sleep make! Saturday we began the day with a plan of attack: slow morning start at our hostel on the island of Giudecca, pick up water bus passes (the 48 hour pass pays for itself in a day and otherwise you pay 7 euros a trip), head to San Marco for cheap new sunglasses and hats (our originals have long since bit the dust), see the crowds of people (and pigeons) in the square, tour the huge Byzantine basilica (no photos allowed inside this ...
