          ... only issue down in the station was that we had to figure out what zone we were traveling to in order to buy the correct ticket from the kiosk. Eventually we found a small map with the zones and it was smooth sailing from there. The entire BMW campus unfolds in front of you as you get out off the station.           ... a minute holding the button, but the operator did not reactivate the doors. The train departed as I cursed.

          I had to wait another 10 minutes for the next train running to Marienplatz, where I finally arrived at 4:22 – nearly an hour after I left the airport. I transferred to the U6 subway line, departing at 4:26 and riding one stop in two minutes to Sendlinger Tor.

If you are not careful your money will disappear quickly, although getting into Oktoberfest is free the beers are expensive. Accommodation in Munich around this time is almost tripled than any other time in the year, it will cost you €10 per litre of beer, €5 for a pretzel and around €10 for a plate of food.
