    ... off, when we told the lady we were from NZ, she brought us complimentary glasses of Limoncello. It turned out, her son had lived in NZ. It's amazing how much the attitude of restaurant staff change affect your dining experience. Le Foch gets an A+ from us for its ambience, service, conviviality and food.

After dinner we then wonder back to the hotel after looking in a few bars to see if we could find one that was showing the England V's France rugby match, none were, not even the aptly named sports bar called the, " Liverpool", so back to the hotel for us and we watch the rugby in the bar area and have a couple of beers in their whilst we watch England win, but not ...

    After lunch, a long walk through the countryside, past this restored Abbey (not open), dating from 1100.
