We didn't walk to much in the gorges, I guess they are about 3-5 km in length. The road is very good, you don't have to climb difficult paths, or climb rocks or trees :)) I let you take a look at the pictures to see what I mean.

If you go there, it's a must that you also go to Gott restaurant in Brasov, half an hour from the gorges. Best restaurant in the center of ...

After some technical problems on our way to the mountains (tire failure that made us drove at 70 km/h with the spare tire) we reached Pensiunea Raza Soarelui in Moeciu de Sus after midnight. 6 hour driving ... exhausting... But still we were able to eat some and drink some more :D

The cabin is exactly before the entry sign in ...

Bran ou le château de Dracula

... tant devenu célèbre avec la légende du « Comte Dracula ». Le personnage de Dracula est associé au prince roumain Vlad Tepes, surnommé « Vlad Dracul » (« Dracul » signifie « fils de Satan ») qui était connu pour sa cruauté (il avait par exemple la petite habitude d’empaler ses ennemis !) C’est également la raison pour laquelle un musée de la torture s’est implanté près du château, mais nous ne l’avons pas visité.

Après la visite, nous décidons de ne pas perdre de temps et de filer vers Bran pour visiter le célèbre « château de Dracula ».
C’est raté : nous arrivons quelques minutes après la fermeture, ce qui nous laisse le temps de traîner dans les nombreuses boutiques touristiques qui entourent le site.

... to skip Biertan and the fact I never saw a sign for it supported my decision especially because I wanted to make sure we had enough time in Sighisoara. Definitely the cherry on top of the day was Sighisoara. Really quaint village. Reminded me of Bruges except it didn't have any candy shops.
