    ... This Southern California sun! She says she had a great time today. Yes, she wore me down and got yet another t shirt.


    Tomorrow the plan is to drove around the city of San Diego. The THING (GPS) will probably be hoarse by the time we get to the next hotel on Shelter Island.



    It is is obvious that will not get to see all that I had planned.
    Yesterday we drove 116 miles. Today we drove 37 miles. We walked 6 MILES! my nikes are smoking!

    ... cart. Pretty swank.

    The grocery store was tucked into this main street—not as large as our stores back home, but with plenty to offer. We purchased breakfast items, cheese, salami, bread crackers and lots of fresh fruit.

    The skies were still cloudy as we walked back to the Del and had breakfast in our room. Our room, as most do, includes a nice little balcony, so we had breakfast there.

    Today we went to Lego Land, we all had a great day, As Kim is the Lego girl she was pricing everything as we went, the scale and detail of the place unbelievable.     After a quick shuttle bus to Alamo cars, we've ended up with a MASSIVE chevi!! Sarah opted to drive first being used to auto driving, only scary moment was the bizarre handbrake pedal, which u nearly knock your chin with your knee trying to put it on and off, wasn't helped with the huge hill we had to come out of the garage from - she did good!! And it only took 2 attempts ...
