    ... at 4:30. Then caught the last of the second lift at 4:45 pm. The views were spectacular with a clear sighting of Zermatt on one side and the peak of the Matterhorn on the other.     ... over the gorge, followed by a stop at a super fun playground and then more hiking through a glacier garden, which is a path that shows where the glacier traveled and carved through the rocks. At the end of our big day of mountain exploration, we were rewarded with ice cream and a swim and hot tub at the hotel pool. The twins requested a cheese and chocolate fondue dinner which they got half of. Apparently, chocolate fondue is not very common. Maybe it's an American creation? - ...

    Today we woke up early and took an hour bus ride to a train station where then we boarded a train to Zermatt. Once we arrived in Zermatt we did some shopping and then took a special kind of train up the Matterhorn. On part of the mountain was a lake and picnic benches. It was cold and rainy but the scenery was beautiful! It was cloudy so we didn't get to see the very top of the Matterhorn but we still saw amazing sights. We all got pictures as a school with a ...
