This morning I found the reception lady to pay what I owed (4 euros), and then took off to Zilina, the first stop of the day. There I finally found a Slovakian cantina and had duck breast for 5 euros. I did a bit of shopping there, buying baby wipes to be prepared for a night of wild camping in the mountains, and took the road of Cadca. Off again heading east after "talking" to Kate on Viber on a street whilst ...

It took an hour or so to get there, during which time we stared out the windows and prepared ourselves for what was to come. Once we arrived at Auschwitz I, we were provided with headsets and receivers ...

... but it's life. Because of that, after the war my family had to change their names to avoid my great grandfather getting arrested. Super crazy!! I can't imagine my dad coming home and telling me that my name is no longer Anastassia Perkins, but Jane Smith (example) from now on. Such a crazy thing to think about. I found out that i have 6 cousins! So awesome the amount of family that i have! AND they are so welcoming and loving. I felt so comfortable with them all!! My grandparents ...
