... Hotel Napoca" I decided to give thta a miss so found something else quite decent for 20 a night....checked out the "Hotel Napoca" it's now a 4 star palace....

I picked Cluj because it's a big town & I need a rear tyre for the bike, it now slides all over the place in the wet and as I'm seeing more rain I want to change it.....soon! It won't last another 500 miles anyway.

We stopped for some well needed ice coffees and walked around the city for the evening.
We ate some really good traditional Romanian food. Peter had duck with carmelised red cabbage and Ania ordered chicken with their very popular polenta. You seem to get this a lot with most meals.
All in all very nice city to look at.

Perhaps we are romantisying peasant life here in (parts of) eastern Europe. Probably it is hard, and lots of people here would love to trade places with almost anyone in western Europe.
Still, it is at least interesting to see, that time is so abundant here. And it sometimes makes us a bit envious as well.
