I had the normal Swiss breakfast which seems to consist of bread, rolls and cold meats and cheese. One thing they seem to offer for the bread is chocolate spread but they never seem to have butter!! Do the Swiss not eat such things as butter??

Sunshine and snow in the Alps
... has about 4 ft or so of snow covering it and so I simply stop at the edge of the road and take photos.
The weather has changed for the worst and its now biting cold and by the time I am heading down the pass it’s starting to snow. I am tempted to stop and put on my wet weather gear but within half an hour the snow has gone and the temp is way up again, it’s just incredible to say the least!!

Chur and the train trip to Morges
A pretty rugged night sleep but we know that tonight we will be back in Morges in beds that we will sleep well. A few hours to kill so we look around Chur, a lovely place and we note a Gondola - aerial this time - thinking this could be a good thing to do. So off we head. My destination was Vaduz, the capital of Lichtenstein, but my stop along the way was Fussen. Fussen is an hour from Memmingen and is at the bottom of Germany and is home to two beautiful castles. Davos
... was back, too, so we all sat outside for lunch. We met Mägge's mother (who lives next door) and is around 98 years old. She’s still very active and greeted us all in German. She started speaking to us in German so I had to say “Ich spreche kein Deutsch” (I don’t speak German) to which she promptly smiled and replied “Ich spreche kein English”. I guess we were at a stalemate…
After lunch, we all walked into Davos ...
