Chama-se hosteria mas tem o charme de um hotel butique. As gerentes e recepcionistas são muito simpáticas, educadas, cultas. As llamas também te recepcionam, e carregam tua bagagem, caso queiras fazer uma excursão mais demorada.

... night as I had to wake early for the bus to see El Calafate’s main attraction, Glacier Perito Moreno. I still managed to sleep in and miss the damn bus by 5 mins meaning I had to fork out more cash for a new ticket for a later bus to the glacier an hour later. ... initial 20 secs. The watch was so cold it burnt to touch it.

And yet! We watched in horror as four 20-something yr old guys decided they needed to truly test their manhood by all leaping into the water off a rock. Their yells echoed everywhere and we all had a laugh at their idiocy. Still, doesn’t extreme cold like that have the potential to cause heart arrest??

Day 2 we hiked 17 km return to Laguna Torre with a more pleasant ascent/descent range ...

... commence serieusement. Ca monte, ca monte, ca monte (On est quand meme a 1400m maintenant!).

Mais une fois de plus, en haut le paysage est a couper le souffle. Un 360 sur le Cerro Torre et la lagune du meme nom, le Fitz Roy, le lac Viedma et tous les autres sommets que je suis incapable de nommer. Spectacle eblouissant, on en a plein les yeux!
