    ... a decent board to hire but found one and went out for a fun surf in pretty small conditions but the waves were long and super fun. The next day was even better and I found a better board to hire. The waves were still pretty small but Rosie came out too and we surfed 3 times that day.     ... fried pork, plantain cooked the way my Nanan used to do it, roasted corn kernels and boiled corn. It was delicious! I had a lovely relaxing afternoon before going out to dinner with the group in the evening. After dinner we went to a really funky bar called the leprechaun bar.     ... a second goal and I asked him who scored it. He assumed I was rooting for England. I unzipped my jacket so he could see that I was wearing my Ecuador jersey. He gave me some free candy for that! I watched the rest of the game in fits and spurts dropping into a convenience store, a coffee shop, a steak house, and an ice cream shop, not necessarily in that order.
