So there we were in the Barcelona port queuing for the ferry to Mahon in Menorca; me, my young son George and teenage daughter Rosina, in our red Citroen 304. Our trip from Madrid to Barcelona on the train went well. The land around Madrid was dry and desert like but this changed to green with trees as we approached Barcelona. Sant Sebastià, Barceloneta and Somorrostro beaches, both 1,100 m (3,610 ft) in length,[43] are the largest, oldest and the most-frequented beaches in Barcelona. The Olympic Harbour separates them from the other city beaches: Nova Icària, Bogatell, Mar Bella, Nova Mar Bella and Llevant. These beaches (ranging from 400 to 640 m/1,300 to 2,100 ft) were opened as a ...

... It is just breathtaking, he had though of everything ! Every small detail of every angle, corner, bow and square has a different from usual shape ! What a genius and what a shame he died so young ! We walked around for hours and finally left this masterpiece after having made lots and lots of pictures. We had found a little restaurant before where we could see the match Holland - Australia at 6 pm, so we went back there. We had dinner and watched the game which was ...
