New Years is the main square was a blast! People everywhere (tons of foreigners). Children selling 2012 glasses and gold boas and women seeling beer. Similar to Christmas, another amazing fireworks display at midnight! Lots of drinking, lots of celebrating and back in the hostel bed at 5AM...

My Birthday in the Sun

... Plaza watching the world go by. The Plaza has some beautiful buildings such as the Cathedral, Jesus Maria and El Triunfo Church's.

In the afternoon, we went for tea and cakes with all of our lovely truck friends. I had the most beautiful chocolate cake but the tea was rubbish. I can not wait for a good cuppa when I get home.

In the evening, I had a roast dinner and then we had an early night ready for our 4am start for the Inca Trail.
