Acapulco. Once one of the world's most famous and popular resort destinations, the pretty coastal city is now mainly only visited by vacationing Mexican families (and, apparently, us). Sailing down the Mexico Coast

Today we spent the day sailing down the coast of Mexico. From our map, we are off the coast of Acapulco. No port stops today as we are heading to Guatamala, which takes two nights and two days sailing to arrive. The waters are very calm and the sailing very smooth. We are both very relaxed and Johnny is enjoying the variety of foods on board.

It seemed quite a safe place to me. This is probably helped by the fact that the Mexican Presidents two daughters are currently in the town. Armed police are very ...

... getting on our way we noticed that Andy's BMWs tire was flat again and again my good reliable Honda came to the rescue with the pump and blew it up again. After that I lead the group of 5 and stopped at a tire shop at the side of the road. All last night Andy tried to find the leak but with no joy he re-fitted the tire and just hoped it would be ok today. How wrong he was.

While we sat drinking yet another coke in the boiling sunshine of Mexico the chap in ...
