... police were just taking the biscuit. We parked the car and literally ran to the first bar we saw which turned out to be a Mexican cabaret bar, hilarious and certainly cheered us up! There's literally bars all along the front but they are pretty much all the same, cheap food, beers and sand. We ended up staying in a place called hotel Olimar which was about 10 minute drive from the main avenue. Looked decent enough and was super cheap for Acapulco. We basically ...

It is also still picking up the pieces ...

No port stops today as we are heading to Guatamala, which takes two nights and two days sailing to arrive. The waters are very calm and the sailing very smooth. We are both very relaxed and Johnny is enjoying the variety of foods on board.

... full equipped kitchen, spa bath and a breathtaking view over-looking Acapulco Bay. We immediately felt the military and police presence patrolling the streets giving the impression a G20 summit meeting was taking place close by. But nonetheless it put our minds at rest.

While in Acapulco, Sarah and I roamed the beaches, ate cheap tacos, and were in our room by latest 10:30pm. Never can be too careful in Acapulco. Acapulco is also famous for a syndicate ...
