... and our first NC boating experience.

Southport, NC Freedom Club doesn't allow fishing or dogs on their deck boats so we left the pups at home. We left Raleigh around 9:30 heading southeast toward Sunset Beach KOA for two nights while we visit Bob & Pat Hinett. Bruce and I played Tidewater today for a smooth $266.00 a round per couple. Well worth or just for the spectacular holes and beautiful views. It's a tough course and can be punishing if you hit an errant shot. We played with two ...

Sorry we haven't blogged for a while, we're being hampered by Internet challenges.

We arrived in North Carolina (Sunset Beach) on Saturday and have settled into our home for the week. It's a condo (a flat to the English) on a golf course about five minutes from the beach. It's very comfortable and spacious and it's especially nice to be able to wash some clothes after nine days on the road.

We've got loads of photos to share with you of our ...
