... we had missed out! The stories of struggling immigrants and how they made a life in America was really interesting. The tour guide, Dante, was great. We saw Katz, famous for the scene in 'When Harry Met Sally' and after the tour we went back there to try a famous bagel with cream cheese! The bagel was ok but, seriously, no one needs that much cream cheese!! From the tour we made our way to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade to see ...

We have both thoroughly enjoyed New York, and for me it lived up to all expectations :) On to the next stop on our adventure! ...

... this afternoon smelled like a donut. Janine and I spent a lot of the afternoon looking up at the skyscrapers. I'm sure we will wake up in the morning with stiff necks. We just pottered this afternoon, but we did come across the Rockerfeller Centre, the Apple shop and the Lego shop. Only took a few photos today, but I'm sure there will be plenty more to ...

Today, Tuesday we took advantage of an early start to the day and headed downtown by subway to make for the Brooklyn Bridge. The temperature is supposed to make 90F and we didn't want to cook whilst walking. We made a great start by going the wrong way on the subway and had to go 3 stops before we could turn around. A hop on bus took us close to ...
