... floor at the speed of sound that finished me off and resulted in vomiting, headache and a 14 hour bed rest!! But! After that rest, the sun was shining the sky was blue and New York was crazy! Walked for miles and miles saw Broadway in the Park, Times Square and shopped at Macy's. This really is the craziest busiest place in the ...

... Italian restaurant in Little Italy. The cab driver that took us there was very entertaining if a little outspoken. His skill at navigating during peak hour was masterful. After a lovely dinner we took our first ride on the subway to the Empire State Building. We lined up with a large crowd, paid our money and were transported up to the 86th floor. We heard they got 2 feet and it hasn't stopped yet. The roads had to get cleared somehow. Mom and I read and went to sleep as the storm continued, the snow accumulated, and the wind picked ...

... I feel about the concept of zoos. Partly they make me feel uncomfortable but the animals here seemed to have a lot of space and be well looked after. And I can never really quell the excitement of being close to amazing animals like tigers. As it was, due to it being a rainy December day I could have probably counted the number of visitors on my fingers and toes. This meant I got total alone time with the tigers and lions who put on a real show for me.
