Finally visited the business capital of the world. A very crowded street - reminded me of Mumbai. More than not- people here on the road were first time visitors - capturing anything that they can with their cameras. There are as big studios/banks/ stores as there are small shops/nightlife bars. Have to visit one of these . Had Bhavana with me through the walk. Both liked the place but weren't very much ...

We stop by Bryant Park (small but lovely) and also, since we are walking past it and I want to go in to see the Reading Room, we go into the NY Public Library. What a Grand Old Dame. This is another beautiful building, lavishly floored with marble and with beautiful staircases (a lot like Grand Central Terminal). Unfortunately for me though, the Reading Room is closed until January next ...

... but after researching there wasn't very many and most of them had rubbish reviews. We carried on walking in the direction of our next photo opportunity with the hope of finding some food on the way. No luck, and we reached the Friends apartment with even hungrier bellies. We gave up the search for food around here and got the subway back to Penn Station. At the risk of being ill on our last day, we went to one of our favourite restaurants back home (even though we only go ...
