With The Loneliest Highway in America now behind me, I took a much needed day off in Ely, Nevada. It is what they call out here, a 'Big Town'. There are 2 main streets, a few small casinos and a bunch of run down motels that wouldn't cut it elsewhere. It didn't take us long to find our hotel in Ely and after the welcome margaritas we stayed in the casino for cheap burgers a few bottled beers.
