Tuesday we took the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. It was a perfect day (besides being really hot!) with clam chowder, lobster rolls and a stop at the beach, which was freezing! Not quite like the warm, white sandy beaches of the Gulf we're use to.
On to the Big Apple ...
I haven't been to a drive-in in about 20 years and the kids have never been to one before. So after a day of relaxing at the beach we decided to take a twenty minute drive to Wellfleet where they have a drive-in movie theatre. We opened up the back of the car and let the kids lay down in the back while Steve and I sat on chairs outside ...
... opted for low key shopping today.
After shopping we went to Friendly's where we all had the most amazing ice cream sundaes! Yum!

I could not afford the items pictured here as much as I would have loved them. But I was able to purchase a Witche's Ball that I know I could buy at home but it was nice to get a treasure from my trip that was made right there. I also bought two glass rings for Vanessa.
... anything like it. Next up, was a lone seal which was pointed out by Steve. Only he said it was a whale so everybody ran to that side of the boat to find out it was a seal. Lol! Still cool to see though. We saw three seals in total. After some time we began to spot the odd whale firstly by the spray from the blow hole far off ...
