What a fantastic day. Set off early - some borderline misery from the junior members- to drive to Provincetown on the northern most tip of Cape Cod. A trendy arty rainbows type of place. Our main aim to go whale watching on the Dolphin Fleet.

Woke up to a blistering hot sun and a cooling breeze. Explored the basement and found deck chairs, beach umbrella and a purple inflatable so headed for the beach at the end of the road- took the car for ease of kit transport.

... with a ten pound backpack of water, towels, sandals and other things. The National Sea Shore had a great beach we laid out on. The entrance had a sign warning of Great White Sharks and Rip tide currents (a bit different than Lake Michigan). There was a fun sand bar I played on about 50 yards out to sea.
