It's a lovely, rainy day here on the Russian River; our first since I have been living here as a resident. It rains hard for a few minutes then clears up and gives us a little sun, just for fun. It is not cold, so it is quite pleasant and much needed.
Dave has been remaking the funky shed out in the back. When I say funky I mean home to spiders, filth and OLD **** left here by the former owners. Eeeeeeew, it was a mess. We call it the TARDIS ...

Before that my neighbor Harry, burst a pipe in his yard and Dave dug down and fixed it for him. Harry couldn’t do it himself as he is waiting for hernia surgery, but he has repaid us by bringing us many yummy pastry treats from his favorite bakeries. Awesome! Needless to say, there will be no weight lost on this trip…

... has really helped us a lot! Dave is a genius, but this is all new to him, so it is great that we have an expert just a phone call away. Next step is hardy board on the bathroom floor and then laying the tile. Everything takes longer than expected, but that is just par for the course here.
