Greetings from the river! After six years of traveling back and forth to cobble this place together, I can't believe I have actually been living here now for almost 4 months! Cobble is not really the right word, as Dave completely tore this place down and rebuilt it into a sweet little custom home. He just had to do it in small bites, which is why it took 6 years. It's a lovely, rainy day here on the Russian River; our first since I have been living here as a resident. It rains hard for a few minutes then clears up and gives us a little sun, just for fun. It is not cold, so it is quite pleasant and much needed.
Dave has been remaking the funky shed out in the back. When I say funky I mean home to spiders, filth and OLD **** left here by the former owners. Eeeeeeew, it was a mess. We call it the TARDIS ...

... has really helped us a lot! Dave is a genius, but this is all new to him, so it is great that we have an expert just a phone call away. Next step is hardy board on the bathroom floor and then laying the tile. Everything takes longer than expected, but that is just par for the course here.
