Many of you know that I had planned to make the move this summer, but life intervened and I will have to wait another year or even a bit more to really make the shift. Still, everything has taken longer than expected and money is impossibly tight, so I am grateful that the school took me back. (Did I mention that I had already given my notice?) Ah, well….. Easter Break 2013
We have been up her for 5 days now, and work, as always, progresses slower than we had hoped. Dave got all of the 12- foot ceiling sheet rock up… by himself. (His homemade drywall tool is a miracle. I am truly in awe!) We are now working on the walls in the living room & kitchen. Still, when it is done it will completely rock!
Now when I say "we" here, it is mostly Dave as every single wall ...

I am happy top say that I got an unexpected week up here on the river because OCHSA had a day off; I took another day off and - Voila'- instant vacation!
