... bad view anywhere. We were told there would be an hour wait for our room. When we went back they had assigned us a third floor room which I can't do since I have RA. After waiting three more hours we went and pulled our bathing suits out of the luggage. We went to the kiddie pool since you can pull your chair right into the water. There were only two kids there with their grandpa. They left shortly afterward since the groom, their father, came to get them for ...

Our first stop was about 10 minutes from the harbour, to go snorkelling above a reef. The first time I ever snorkelled was in ...

    Rain day

Unfortunately the showers continued throughout the day. We took a chance during one of the dry moments and took some photos around the resort. (Tomorrow I hope to get down to the beach with the camera...need to get at least one of the ocean while I'm here!) There is a little gazebo in the middle of a pond in the garden outside of our room. When we walked past it today, we saw a bird perched on ...

    Wedding day continued

A travel blog entry by andreacapper on Jan 12, 2013

Unfortunately the weather didn't really co-operate, and the wedding on the beach turned into the wedding indoors to get out of the rain. It was still beautiful, and the sun broke through long enough for us all to get a nice group shot on the beach. While the newlyweds were off taking photos, the rest of us enjoyed a Jamaican cocktail hour. The reception was held in ...
