... on board the fast jet ferry to Athens or Piraeus Port and had been told the trip would take five hours. Five hours has come and gone and we are still tossing our way across the sea and will be for another 2 1/2 hours apparently. Its quite a rough ride at the moment as the ...

We were a few blocks back from the beach which was lined with a few bars and shops. We soon found out we were sharing the hotel with maybe one other couple and therefore had the pool to ourselves. I was pooped but very satisfied and proud of my hard efforts. We enjoyed some very beautiful food while on Naxos. One of our favorite spots was a beach cafe, where we would ...

... I would be collected by Stavros in half an hour. There was no apology from Stavros when he arrived, and he then told me I wouldn't be staying at the Young Inn which I had booked, but at Captain Dounas instead. It was a beautiful apartment complex however the attitude on Stavros me off and as a result I would not return. He worked the hotel manager, Anna, to the bone. Naoussa, whilst very beautiful and picturesque is very expensive and all the shops are boutiques, not ...

... over. It looked like a lot of fun, but it was still really really windy and didn't seem like it would be very easy to learn to windsurf, otherwise it would have been the perfect place to try. After a good swim in the big waves that the wind had created, we headed back to change then went into town for some lunch - a gyro pitta for me and an enormous crepe for Kyle, then explored some of the market shops. I am now sitting on ...
