11 days there with family. It was bittersweet leaving everyone behind but it
was time to rejoin our lives at the circus in my grandma’s memory. She loved
our show and loved that John was a clown. It was fitting that the bouquet of flowers

Got up early again today (when does the vacation start) and dropped off our favorite refugee at the Flint Airport for her 10:00 AM Flight back to FL. We had a great time with Gaile in Frankenmuth; she was a great addition to our trip and we will see her again in a couple days in San Fran.
Drove across the state to Muskegon, MI and checked in to Travelodge. Please note how early you are receiving this - we are stopping early tonight.
      But before ...

John and I, bringing only my small tent, quickly set up and helped our neighbors set their up too. They were all-too kind and offered us beer for our trouble, which was the kindling to a beautiful relationship we had with them. That ...

... back. Like you can still have a free market and all that but you don't have any rights," Daniel informed us all about Vietnam. I laughed for about 10 minutes. But he first told us that Venezuela is the only country that starts with a 'V', so I guess take all that for what it's worth. Evan also decided to braid Erin's hair, so that was cool. It went better than I expected (see photo). Once we finally arrived, we had to test out one of the intriguing ...

... very minimal set up much better as they showed us what people mean by southern hospitality. The music was really enjoyable and not knowing many of the bands we were able to just 'follow our ears' around what was a fantastically planned festival- the 'electric forest' itself was amazing. At night it became vibrantly littered with colours and in the day it provided much needed shade as we crumbled under the Michigan heat- we literally had to ...
