This excursion took us to OIA, Greece. It is a typical Greek village, located on a high hilltop with narrow streets and white churches with blue domes. Our first stop at 9am was to a winery with plenty of samples, What a way to start the day!! We could have taken a cable car down to the port but decided to walk. After we arrived we checked in and headed out for food. First impressions were of somewhere that people go to tan, drink and get a tattoo and need a lot of medical help due to the number of clinics in such a small place. I loved the train ride chatting to a local about the Gilly islands (now want to go to see the turtles) it was bed time. I slept very well considering and better than on any night bus. Was a lovely way to travel down the country and would definitely do it again. ...
