... that there is something different to eating lobster in the places close to where it is caught. Jeff was able to break and eat his lobster cleanly without having to wear the lobster bib (I think that he really disappointed the server who wanted to help Jeff put it on). The lobster was served with some butter – delicious!! Life doesn’t get any better than this.

We had a great time in Maine. I know that we’ll be back again sometime ...

... little special. We dug in at camp and sampled the local cuisine (lobster rolls and clam chowder, naturally). The lobster roll was cold and disappointing, but OMG, the clam chowder was so good that we got it a couple more times. It was a really thin, wine-based chowder, not the thick, clumpy stuff you normally get.

Kim fell in love with Bar Harbor - could move there in a minute, if it weren't for their cold winters, so for one last glimse of this wonderful little harbor town, we took one last walk along the harbor trail and took some final photos for memories.

Final morning in Bar Harbor, we headed up to Mt. Cadillac one more time to see if we could see the views - only to find it even foggier than the day before and the wind was howling! So we headed back down the mtn and in just a short distance, we finally saw some of the views of the village and bay below. The views are a bit dim, because the fog was swirling around the mountain, but the view was still pretty cool from up there.
