After a soggy day in Saint John we were feeling pretty hopeful for our Bar Harbor day - especially after all the bragging about it I've done all year! Sure enough it was a gorgeous bright sunny day with NOT a cloud in the sky. However it was the coldest day yet. The boots I bought in Sydney have proved themselves worth their weight in gold - not just in comfort but in cozy warmth too. As have the hats and blue jeans I threw in the suitcase at the last minute! Thank goodness ...
