... oh yea, no problem! The hike up is incredible; the well-marked trail enjoys a plethora of Cairns and guides us through an ever higher level of trees, granite, and shrubs. Finally, reaching the top we enjoy the eastward, coastal views of Frenchmen Bay and the westward island views of Cadillac Mountain. Beautiful!

As we hike downward, we detour to “The Bowl”. Casey is SO ready to take off the shoes and soak her tootsies in the cool ...

... was calling us with the 2000 mile drive hanging over us, but we stayed a couple of nights. The first on top of the highest mountain Mt Cadillac. Screes of people watched the sunset and clapped when it slipped below the horizon, then the tourist buses went home and left us alone at what was our most scenic camp site so far!

... no fog!) with the view to the lighthouse and finalized our lunch with fine chocolate from Len Libby!!!
Next stop – Boston airport! After enjoying 4 wonderful days together, I took the flight to Vienna and Peter the bus from Boston to Washington, being prepared to start his next tour through the US – but this is another story,... or stories!!!!!

In summary, we had a great time and Maine is about two things: Lobster and fog.

... carpets, Victoriana furniture etc. All seems very nice though and most importantly they have cheese and wine at 5! I'm the only one there at 5 so help myself. Go out for a walk around town. They have a pizza/cinema. Look at the pictures!
