We travelled up to Picton for our ferry trip over to the North Island. Picton is a really nice place, but the main attraction is the ferry port. A Small Garden and a big City

Of the 6 floors, 1&2 had shops in, we spent about 2 hours each in 3 & 4 and didn’t go to 5 & 6 because one’s an art gallery and the other has temporary exhibitions that we didn’t like the look of. In Wellington konnte ich Glücklicherweise bei einer Kommilitonin Julia aus dem Umsi Semester übernachten, die in einem Studentenwohnheim im äußeren Ring wohnte. In unserem Bus nach Wellington waren noch 3 Hippies dabei, die bei einer Pause das Banjo und die Geige auspackten und gemütliche Westernmusik machten..echt gut!

A month on the road with Farmer and Scouse!
... our route. The local farmer was ushering them along from the comfort of his 4x4 and we just had to wait there - it was so funny to see though and it definitely left the sheep confused.
That was about it as far as the excitement went for the day - there isn't much we can do without spending loads of money. Oh well, not long until the two of us are in Fiji, and not long until Jack and Lauren are back in Melbourne.
