Last night was our last night in the hostel. We were pretty excited to get out of there and move into our new place. Danny and I went to try out to the burger joint just below our hostel and had some amazing burgers. Day 12
The weather wasn't any better than a day before. After having a quick stroll on the Whitecliffs walkway, which can be accessed only at low tide, I slowly started realizing that Mt. Taranaki will be covered up in clouds whole day. Area around Mt. Taranaki is unique as there are not many places in the world where you can go swimming in the sea and skiing in mountains in one day. ... displays and how they believe the earth was formed. Full of culture and knowledge we left the museum in search of an apparent all you can eat Asian restaurant. When we found it we went to town on the buffet and literally couldn't finish our plates. We decided to be lazy and go to the cinema and after that we had an early night because we had to catch the 8.35am ferry to Picton on the south island the next morning.

... we need it. In the end they decided that the problem was fixable after all and sorted. Praise God. Then we when we got home, I flipping lost the travel card. Time to catch up! Having given our lovely van back wewere taken in to our hotel. We stayed in Christchurch at the Chateauin the Park, which looks slighly off putting from outside but, inside all was excellent, our room , we were given a 'suite', and breakfast. The following day was the day of the big arrival and there was still a distance to travel and some interesting animals to see. Before we left the camp site, we visited the Kiwi House located behind. Of all the things that annoy me most, the social faux pas that really, really gives me a serious case of the irrits has to be when people cycle through their mobile phone ring tones at full volume in a constrained public area like a bus, train or, in this case, ferry.
