We loved this spot. Clean, pretty quiet by the standards of the street and the lady running the place was exceptionally kind.

We loved our stay at the Happy Inn. Everything was exactly as described on the website - no surprises. Mrs. Thi shook her head at our itinerary and told us to contact her next time and she would save us much time and money. The location is great - very central. There must be a thousand restaurants within a few square blocks. The few that we were able to try were really good. We would most definitely stay there again. We got the VIP room with a terrace which was great but I'm sure any of the rooms would have been fine.

We then walked down to the river and up the main shopping streets taking in the Opera H...

As I write this we are pulling out of our berth in Saigon. In case you were wondering the Saigon riverr has not been renamed even though the city has.

The cruise is winding down. We have a sea day tomorrow and a stop in Cambodia for a hike through a national park rain forest on Friday and disembarkation in Bangkok on Saturday. From the...

      Hallo us Ho Chi Minh
